3 Poinsettia
3 Christmas Rose
1 small Christmas Cactus
12 Holly berries,
4 Pine branches
14-15 Magnolia Leaves
Few Mistletoe leaves and twigs
4-5 Small bottles
1 rectangular wicker basket of medium height for base
Wire net
Few feet gauge Wire
Red ribbon
Scissor
Two dried branches
Few pheasant feathers
Some stones of interesting shape and color
Few sea shells

Step 1
You can have the flowers from your own garden or local nursery. The flowers for this particular Christmas Decoration include, Ivy, Mistletoe, Rose, Tulips, Holly, and Poinsettia. Similarly get the foliage. Try to keep the flowers as fresh as possible. So buy them just moments before and put them in some water right after coming home. If you look in your store, there could be some small empty bottles and wicker baskets. Ask the children to join in to collect things like sea shells and stones. Next step is the cleaning of bottles and basket. The list of materials shows you the possibilities; you could add or reduce the things according to your taste and available space in your home.
Making the Base
Step 2
Put water in the bottles, attach the net to the top, and then place them in the basket. For better presentation the bottles should be of lesser height then the basket. Ask the kids to attach the wire gently to the flowers, barriers, feathers, and foliage. This could be interesting thing for them to do. After this you should place them in water in the bottles. However during this process, do not keep the flowers out of water for long time.
Placing of Elements
Step 3
While arranging you must keep shape of a triangle at back of your mind. Start by placing the larger flowers in the centre. And arrange the smaller ones around at symmetrical distance. If you have a Christmas cactus put it next to the flowers carefully. Next thing is to do is placing the foliage, start this by putting the pine branches, two in the upper side and two on the base. Similarly use the dried branches, and then arrange the leaves to fill the space. After this attach the feathers in the empty places. The barriers will look good in group of three so attach them in similar fashion. After first time putting every thing together, if you desire apply a few changes. Soon you will get the final look.
Finalizing the Arrangement

The things like sea shells, interesting shaped stones, and similar objects of your choice should be placed around the arrangement. This finishes the flower arrangement. To keep on enjoying these Christmas Decoration flowers for longer period. You should try and look for things getting dried and try to preserve them or replace them as soon as possible.
