- Gold or silver ribbon of less width.
- Golden ribbon of more width
- Shiny metallic sequins
- Tacky glue or hot glue
- Clay pot (2”)
- Straight pins
- Snow paint which can be made by mixing sand and white paint
- Styrofoam cone of 6 inches
- Acrylic paints of yellow, blue, white, flesh and black color
- Lace with gold or silver trim
How to make this candle stand-
- Take the pot and paint it with acrylic flesh color.
- Now take the prepared snow paint and spread it over the pot so as to make the hairs of the angel leaving space in between for the face. Spread it with the help of a Popsicle stick. Leave it to dry
- Now after drying paint the hairs with the yellow acrylic paint or with whatever color you want to use.
- Make angel’s features on the remaining flesh colored pot.
- Take the Styrofoam cone and start winding ruffled lace around it. Start it from the base by securing the end with glue or pin and wind it upwards such that one overlaps the other. Secure the upper end with the pin. Make sure that the two ends are in the same line as it will become the back of the angel.
- Now remove the holding pins and place straight pin. Glue sequins all over the dress of the angel so as to decorate it.
- Pipe hot glue at the top of the cone and place head over it. Press it to get stick.
- Take narrow ribbon to make a bow around the neck of the angel and secure it with the sequin.
- Use the wide golden ribbon to make the wings of the angel by making a big bow of it. Glue it at the back.
Your own angel candle stand is ready to use.
