Requirements-

  1. 9” X 12” felt sheets of each- Green, black, red, white and apple green.
  2. Craft glue or hot glue.
  3. Two buttons of 5/16”
  4. Black, red, grey and orange colored embroidery floss.
  5. Scissors
  6. Sewing thread and needle
  7. pins
  8. Ruler
  9. Fabric marker
  10. Fiber fill

How to make it-

  1. Cut the white felt to make arms, legs, body and face.
  2. Cut a scarf and a hat band out of red felt.
  3. Now, to make eyes ad mouth, take six strands of black floss and then stitch French knots.
  4. To make nose, take three strands of orange floss and satin and make the stitch.
  5. Now to make the body of the snowman, take the front and back pieces of the body cut out from the white felt. Stitch them together by using light grey floss from the sides and the head. Leave the lower portion unstitched and fill the body with fiber fill to make it pulpy. Pull the thread after gathering at the lower area and make some back stitches to fix it.
  6. Likewise, stitch the arms and legs using the light gray floss and black floss respectively. Make blanket stitches only and stuff them lightly.
  7. Likewise, stuff the hat also and keeping the lower end open, fix it on the snowman’s head. Stitch it there.
  8. Place the hat band and stitch it. Make holly leaves with green felt and stitch them over the hat, overlapping the hat band.
  9. Tie a knot with the scarf around the snowman’s neck and trim its ends if desired.
  10. For cheeks use light red blusher.
